A bill to amend 1994 PA 451, entitled “Natural resources and environmental protection act,” by amending section 20120a (MCL 324.20120a), as amended by 2018 PA 581. The question being on the passage of the bill, Senator Webber offered the following amendment: 1. Amend page 16, line 15, by striking out all of enacting section 2 and inserting: “Enacting section 2. This amendatory act does not take effect unless all of the following bills of the 102nd Legislature are enacted into law: (a) House Bill No. 4825. (b) House Bill No. 4826. Enacting section 3. This amendatory act does not take effect unless Senate Joint Resolution C of the 102nd Legislature becomes a part of the state constitution of 1963 as provided in section 1 of article XII of the state constitution of 1963.”. The question being on the adoption of the amendment, Senator Lauwers requested the yeas and nays. The yeas and nays were ordered, 1/5 of the members present voting therefor.
