- House Bill No. 4825, entitled A bill to amend 1986 PA 182, entitled “State police retirement act of 1986,” by amending section 66 (MCL 38.1666), as added by 2018 PA 674. The question being on the passage of the bill, Senator Webber offered the following amendment: 1. Amend page 2, line 11, by striking out all of enacting section 2 and inserting: “Enacting section 2. This amendatory act does not take effect unless all of the following bills of the 102nd Legislature are enacted into law: (a) House Bill No. 4824. (b) House Bill No. 4826. Enacting section 3. This amendatory act does not take effect unless Senate Joint Resolution C of the 102nd Legislature becomes a part of the state constitution of 1963 as provided in section 1 of article XII of the state constitution of 1963.”. The amendment was not adopted, a majority of the members serving not voting therefor.
