What that tells me is, again, we have additional costs for zero added value. These septic systems—you used to be able to fund them with help borrowing money. It’s become so cost prohibitive now that people have to go to the bank just to replace their septic systems. It’s just too bad. Bottom line—what this legislation will do is it will add costs to everybody’s septic without any additional value. I am opposed to that. The following bill was read a third time: Senate Bill No. 300, entitled A bill to amend 1978 PA 368, entitled “Public health code,” (MCL 333.1101 to 333.25211) by adding sections 12815, 12817, and 12829.
