- A bill to amend 1979 PA 94, entitled “The state school aid act of 1979,” by amending section 18 (MCL 388.1618), as amended by 2022 PA 144. The question being on the passage of the bill, Senator Bellino offered the following amendment: 1. Amend page 4, following line 10, by inserting: “(f) The annual amount taken out of employees’ salaries to pay union dues. A district shall disclose both the total annual amount taken from employees’ salaries for the entire district and the average annual per-employee amount.” and relettering the remaining subdivisions. The question being on the adoption of the amendment, Senator Outman requested the yeas and nays. The yeas and nays were ordered, 1/5 of the members present voting therefor.
