- House Bill No. 6046, entitled A bill to amend 1939 PA 280, entitled “The social welfare act,” (MCL 400.1 to 400.119b) by adding sections 89 and 89a. The question being on the passage of the bill, Senator Albert offered the following amendment: 1. Amend page 5, following line 11, by inserting: “Enacting section 2. This amendatory act does not take effect unless Senate Bill No. 184 of the 102nd Legislature is enacted into law.”.
