Amend page 5, following line 4, by inserting: “(4) This section does not apply to an employee who does not comply with federal immigration law or actively enables government censorship in a manner that is contrary to the First Amendment of the United States Constitution.”. The question being on the adoption of the amendment, Senator Lauwers requested the yeas and nays. The yeas and nays were ordered, 1/5 of the members present voting therefor.
