- The following bill was read a third time: House Bill No. 6088, entitled A bill to amend 1986 PA 196, entitled “Public transportation authority act,” by amending sections 8, 18, and 29 (MCL 124.458, 124.468, and 124.479), sections 8 and 18 as amended by 2006 PA 175. The question being on the passage of the bill, Senator Webber offered the following amendments: 1. Amend page 6, line 12, after “of” by striking out “1,100,000” and inserting “1,500,000”. 2. Amend page 6, line 16, after “of” by striking out “1,100,000” and inserting “1,500,000”. The question being on the adoption of the amendments, Senator Lauwers requested the yeas and nays. The yeas and nays were ordered, 1/5 of the members present voting therefor. The amendments were not adopted, a majority of the members serving not voting therefor, as follows:
