fully support this specific solution, as it has not gained endorsement from the department administrators. It is my hope that the state will explore providing wellness services to individuals in need across all state departments, especially those with employees in front-line positions. Broadening this approach could achieve the intent of this bill: to give employees input in the services that they receive, provide privacy necessary for individuals seeking services to receive care without impacting their career progress, and ultimately improve the state’s ability as employers to ensure a safe, healthy place to work and serve the people of Michigan.” House Bill No. 4823, entitled A bill to amend 2019 PA 152, entitled “Lawful internet gaming act,” by amending section 15 (MCL 432.315).
