- The question being on the passage of the bill, Rep. Yaroch moved to amend the bill as follows: 1. Amend page 3, line 27, after “service.” by inserting “In expending money from the Michigan opioid healing and recovery fund, the department of treasury shall give priority to programs and services that benefit cities, villages, and townships with a population of less than 10,000 according to the most recent federal decennial census that were not eligible to participate in the opioid settlements. As used in this subsection, “opioid settlements” means the Distributor Settlement Agreement and the Janssen Settlement Agreement.”. The motion was seconded and the amendment was not adopted, a majority of the members serving not voting therefor.
