- Senate Bill No. 16, entitled A bill to amend 1917 PA 167, entitled “Housing law of Michigan,” by amending section 125 (MCL 125.525), as amended by 2016 PA 14. (This bill was returned from the House without amendment, immediate effect and full title, on Thursday, April 29 and the recommendation for immediate effect postponed. See Senate Journal No. 37, p. 572.) The question being on concurring in the committee recommendation to give the bill immediate effect, The recommendation was concurred in, 2/3 of the members serving voting therefor. The Senate agreed to the full title. The bill was referred to the Secretary for enrollment printing and presentation to the Governor.
