By unanimous consent the Senate proceeded to the order of Third Reading of Bills Senator Lauwers moved that the Senate proceed to consideration of the following bill: Senate Bill No. 687 The motion prevailed. The following bill was read a third time: Senate Bill No. 687, entitled A bill to establish a student opportunity scholarship program for eligible students; to provide for the certification of scholarship-granting organizations; to provide for student opportunity scholarship accounts; to prescribe conditions for use of the funds in the scholarship accounts; to provide for the administration of the student opportunity scholarship program; to prescribe certain powers and duties of certain state officers, agencies, and departments; and to allow certain tax credits and deductions.
