In The Chair: President The Senate agreed to the title of the bill. The following bill was read a third time: Senate Bill No. 852, entitled A bill to amend 1937 PA 94, entitled “Use tax act,” by amending section 14a (MCL 205.104a), as amended by 2022 PA 4. The question being on the passage of the bill, Senator Runestad offered the following amendment: 1. Amend page 4, following line 23, by inserting: “Enacting section 1. This amendatory act does not take effect unless Senate Bill No. 853 of the 101st Legislature is enacted into law.”. The amendment was adopted, a majority of the members serving voting therefor.
