Amend page 4, following line 21, by inserting: “ (11) The legislature shall appropriate sufficient funds to distribute to each household in this state with adjusted gross income of less than $250,000.00 a gas tax relief check in the amount of $250.00. As used in this subsection, “adjusted gross income” means that term as defined in section 62 of the internal revenue code of 1986, 26 USC 62. ”. Senator Chang requested the yeas and nays.
