- Representative S. Johnson moved to adopt the meeting minutes from January 29, 2019. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. Chairman Filler laid before the committee a presentation by the Michigan Department of Corrections. Kyle Kaminski, representing the Michigan Department of Corrections, gave a presentation to the committee. Questions and discussion followed. Chairman Filler laid before the committee a presentation by the Michigan Sheriffs' Association. Sheriff Rick Fuller from Kalamazoo County and Sheriff Matt Saxton from Calhoun County, both representing the Michigan Sheriffs' Association, gave a presentation to the committee.
