The Chair laid HB 4224 and HB 4225 before the committee: HB 4224 (Rep. Hoitenga) A bill to amend 1978 PA 368, entitled "Public health code," by amending section 7104 (MCL 333.7104), as amended by 2001 PA 233. HB 4225 (Rep. Kahle) A bill to amend 1978 PA 368, entitled "Public health code," by amending section 7303a (MCL 333.7303a), as amended by 2018 PA 101. Representative Hoitenga, Representative Kahle, and Amy Francoeur, representing the Hospice of Lenawee and the Michigan Homecare and Hospice Association, testified in support of the bills. Questions and discussion followed. Thadd Gormas and Ron Stavale, representing the Michigan Academy of Physician Assistants, testified in support of the bills. Questions and discussion followed. The Chair laid the presentation by the Alzheimer’s Association before the committee.
