Whitsett) A bill to amend 1956 PA 218, entitled “The insurance code of 1956,"(MCL 500.100 to 500.8302) by adding section 3406u. HB 4605 (Rep. Neeley) A bill to amend 1978 PA 368, entitled “Public health code,"(MCL 333.1101 to 333.25211) by adding section 16221c. HB 4606 (Rep. Hoitenga) A bill to amend 1978 PA 368, entitled “Public health code,” by amending section 9123 (MCL 333.9123), as added by 1988 PA 487. HB 4607 (Rep. Whitsett) A concurrent resolution to urge the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services to protect the people of Michigan from Lyme disease by improving efforts to prevent, monitor, diagnose, and treat the disease. Representative Whitsett, Representative Kennedy, Representative Eisen, Representative Hoitenga, Breanna Ramos, representing herself, and Sam McLaren – Fahey, representing herself, all testified in support of the bills and House Concurrent Resolution No. 7.
