- Representative Paquette moved to adopt the minutes from the October 2nd, 2019 meeting. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Chair laid HB 4823 before the committee: HB 4823 (Rep. Bellino) A bill to amend 1893 PA 206, entitled" The general property tax act," by amending section 24f (MCL 211.24f), as amended by 2000 PA 244. Representative Paquette offered the following amendment to HB 4823: 1. Amend page 4, line 12, after "schools"" by inserting "if a list of each school district and other constituent districts to which revenue from the millage will be disbursed is posted by the city or township clerk in 1 or more conspicuous places in each election precinct in which the question appears on the ballot". Representative Paquette spoke to his amendment.
