The Chair laid HB 4816 and HB 4912 before the committee: HB 4816 (Rep. Iden) A bill relating to the promotion of regional convention business and tourism in this state and certain regions of this state; to provide for tourism and convention marketing and promotion programs in certain areas; to provide for imposition and collection of assessments on the owners of transient facilities to support tourism and convention marketing and promotion programs; to provide for the disbursement of the assessments; to establish the oversight functions and duties of certain state departments, state agencies, and state employees; and to prescribe penalties and remedies. HB 4912 (Rep. Hauck) A bill to amend 1998 PA 58, entitled "Michigan liquor control code of 1998,"by amending section 513 (MCL 436.1513), as amended by 2018 PA 479.
