Representative Yaroch moved to adopt the meeting minutes from November 6, 2019. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Chair laid HB 4426 before the committee: HB 4426 (Rep. Koleszar) A bill to amend 1996 PA 195, entitled "Police officer's and fire fighter's survivor tuition grant act," by amending sections 2 and 3 (MCL 390.1242 and 390.1243), section 2 as amended by 2016 PA 295 and section 3 as amended by 2012 PA 470. Representative Koleszar introduced the bill. Yvonne Sawyers-Swanson and Lily Sawyers testified in support of HB 4426. Questions and discussion followed. Perry Zielak, representing the House Fiscal Agency, testified on the bill.
