The Chair laid before the committee a presentation given by the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) on Age-Friendly Communities. Melissa Seifert, Associate State Director of Governmental Affairs, and Karen Kafantaris, Associate State Director for Livable Communities, for the American Association of Retired Persons of Michigan, briefed the committee on Michigan becoming an Age-Friendly State.
