Marino) A bill to amend 1984 PA 431, entitled "The management and budget act," (MCL 18.1101 to 18.1594) by adding section 266. HB 4955 (Rep. Marino) A bill to amend 1984 PA 431, entitled "The management and budget act," (MCL 18.1101 to 18.1594) by adding section 262a. HB 4956 (Rep. Marino) A bill to amend 1984 PA 431, entitled "The management and budget act," by amending section 264 (MCL 18.1264), as added by 1988 PA 504. Barry Szczesny, Legislative Assistant to Chairman Marino, the bill sponsor, explained HB 4954, HB 4955. and HB 4956 to committee members. Bree Anderson, Legislative Liaison and Policy Advisor for the Michigan Department of Technology, Management and Budget, and Jim Colongelo, Chief Procurement Officer for the Michigan Department of Technology, Management and Budget, testified in opposition to HB 4954, HB 4955, and HB 4956. There being no further business before the committee, Representative Wakeman moved to adjourn.
