- Representative Tyrone Carter moved to adopt the amendment to HB 5912 (H-2). The motion did not prevail 6-9-0: UNFAVORABLE ROLL CALL Yeas: Reps. Camilleri, Sowerby, Brenda Carter, Tyrone Carter, Koleszar, Stone. Nays: Reps. Hornberger, Paquette, Crawford, Vaupel, Reilly, Hall, Markkanen, O'Malley, Wakeman. Pass: None. Representative Hornberger offered the following amendments to HB 5912 (H-2): 1. Amend page 14, line 27, after "district" by inserting a comma and "except as otherwise provided in this subdivision,". 2. Amend page 14, line 28, after "subdivision." by inserting "If the guidelines described in this subdivision include a recommendation that a district close 1 or more of its school buildings, the ultimate decision concerning whether or not to close those school buildings remains with the district.". Representative Hornberger spoke to her amendments.
