Colin Ford, Public Policy Director for the Michigan Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association, and Doug Hammond, a resident of Birch Run, explained the challenges of living with dementia or living with someone who has dementia. Christine Caswell, Catherine Jacobs, and Kelly Quardokus, elder law attorneys representing the Elder Law and Disability Rights Section of the State Bar of Michigan, briefed the committee on various issues pertaining to Michigan's laws related to senior citizens.
