Jack Nolish, the Director of Workers' Disability Compensation Agency, and Drew Beardslee, representing the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity, testified in opposition to HB 4822 (H-1). Questions and discussion followed. Representative Cherry offered the following amendments to HB 4822 (H-1): 1. Amend page 1, line 1, after "(1)" by striking out "Except as otherwise provided in this section, an" and inserting "An". 2. Amend page 2, line 6, by striking out all of subsection (3) and renumbering the remaining subsection.
