HB 4998 (Rep. O'Malley) A bill to amend 1949 PA 300, entitled "Michigan vehicle code," by amending section 638 (MCL 257.638). Representative Sneller testified in support of HB 4997 and HB 4998. Questions and discussion followed. Sergeant Chris Gerard and Lieutenant Lance Cook, representing the Michigan State Police, testified in support of HB 4997 and HB 4998. Questions and discussion followed. The Chair laid HB 5290 before the committee: HB 5290 (Rep.
