Representative Allor moved to adopt the meeting minutes from November 4, 2021. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Chair laid HB 5165 before the committee: HB 5165 (Rep. Whiteford) A bill to amend 1974 PA 258, entitled "Mental health code," by amending section 818 (MCL 330.1818), as amended by 1995 PA 290. Representative Whiteford testified in support of HB 5165. Chip Johnston and Cassi Lietaert, representing the Centra Wellness Network, testified in support of HB 5165. Questions and discussion followed. Kathryn Szewczuk, representing the Lenawee County Mental Health Authority, testified in support of HB 5165. The following people submitted a card in support of HB 5165, but did not wish to speak: Alan Bolter, representing the Community Mental Health Association of Michigan. The Chair laid HB 5558 and HB 5559 before the committee: HB 5558 (Rep.
