- Representative Eisen moved to adopt the meeting minutes from December 9, 2021. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Chair laid before the committee a presentation by Amy Trotter, Executive Director, Michigan United Conservation Clubs, on Proposal G of 1996. She also testified in support of SCR 7. The Chair laid SCR 7 before the committee: SCR 7 (Sen. McBroom) A concurrent resolution to urge the Natural Resources Commission to authorize, and the Department of Natural Resources to organize, wolf hunting and trapping as part of the state's wolf management efforts beginning in 2021.
