- Representative Sabo moved to report out SB 445 with recommendation, as substitute (H-1). The motion prevailed 9-0-0: FAVORABLE ROLL CALL Yeas: Reps. Griffin, Martin, Howell, Farrington, Eisen, Markkanen, Sabo, Hope, O'Neal. Nays: None. Pass: None. The Chair laid before the Committee a presentation on Mavin-Integrating Data and People to create a Better Learning Experience. Bob Kefgen, Associate Executive Director for Government Relations Michigan Association of Secondary School Principals, introduced Colin Ripmaster, Deputy Executive Director Michigan Association of Secondary School Principals, Sai Naik, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer and the Principal Solution Architect for the Mavin Global Company, and Kevin Stotts, President Talent 2025, who put forward their video presentation on Mavin, a student learning program. Questions and discussion followed. There being no further business before the committee; Representative Sabo moved that the committee adjourn.
