The Chair laid HB 5623 before the committee: HB 5623 (Rep. Damoose) A bill to amend 1998 PA 58, entitled "Michigan liquor control code of 1998," by amending section 513 (MCL 436.1513), as amended by 2020 PA 121. Representative Damoose and Steve Betz, representing Lake Superior State University, testified in support of HB 5623. The following person submitted a card with a neutral position on HB 5623, but did not wish to speak: David Marvin, representing the Michigan Liquor Control Commission. The Chair laid HB 5983 and HB 5984 before the committee: HB 5983 (Rep.
