The Chair laid HB 4021 before the committee: HB 4021 (Rep. VanderWall) A bill to amend 1994 PA 451, entitled "Natural resources and environmental protection act," by amending sections 81101, 81132, 81145, 81146, and 81150 (MCL 324.81101, 324.81132, 324.81145, 324.81146, and 324.81150), section 81101 as amended by 2020 PA 385 and sections 81132, 81145, 81146, and 81150 as added by 1995 PA 58. Representative VanderWall testified in support of HB 4021. Questions and discussion followed. Matt Saxton, Executive Director representing the Michigan Sheriffs' Association testified in support of HB 4021. Sgt. Robert Meyers representing the Lake County testified in support of HB 4021. Richard L. Martin, Lake County Sheriff testified in support of HB 4021.
