- Representative Edwards moved to adopt the meeting minutes from June 6, 2023. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Chair laid HB 4648 before the committee: HB 4648 (Rep. Arbit) A bill to amend 1979 PA 94, entitled "The state school aid act of 1979," by amending sections 6 and 6a (MCL 388.1606 and 388.1606a), as amended by 2022 PA 144. Representative Arbit testified in support of HB 4648. Questions and discussion followed.
