- Representative Rheingans moved to adopt the meeting minutes from June 7, 2023. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Chair laid HB 4573 before the committee: HB 4573 (Rep. Glanville) A bill to amend 1966 PA 331, entitled "Community college act of 1966," by amending sections 161, 162, and 164 (MCL 389.161, 389.162, and 389.164), sections 161 and 162 as amended by 2015 PA 130 and section 164 as amended by 2018 PA 376. At 10:34 AM, the Chair laid the committee at ease. At 10:35 AM, Majority Vice Chair Rheingans called the committee back to order. Chair Glanville testified in support of HB 4573.
