The Chair laid HB 4926 before the committee: HB 4926 (Rep. Brenda Carter) A bill to amend 1893 PA 206, entitled "The general property tax act," by amending section 14a (MCL 211.14a), as amended by 2022 PA 240. Representative Brenda Carter, Mike Johnston, representing the Michigan Manufacturers Association, and Peter Mormon and David Buick, representing the Michigan Department of Treasury testified in support of HB 4926.
