- Representative Tsernoglou moved to adopt the meeting minutes from April 25, 2024. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Chair laid HB 5557 before the committee: HB 5557 (Rep. Grant) A bill to amend 2008 PA 33, entitled "Michigan planning enabling act," by amending sections 7, 15, and 33 (MCL 125.3807, 125.3815, and 125.3833), section 7 as amended by 2010 PA 134, section 15 as amended by 2010 PA 105, and section 33 as amended by 2010 PA 306. At 10:32 AM, the Chair laid the committee at ease. At 10:33 AM, Majority Vice Chair Dievendorf called the committee back to order. Representative Kristian Grant testified in support of HB 5557.
