The Chair laid HB 4027 before the committee: HB 4027 (Rep. Zorn) A bill to amend 1976 PA 451, entitled "The revised school code," (MCL 380.1 to 380.1852) by adding section 1138a. Representative Zorn and Shane Preston, representing the Department of Defense State Liaison Office ,testified in support of HB 4027. Questions and discussion followed. The following person submitted a card in support of HB 4027, but did not wish to speak: Dr. Sheryl Kennedy, representing the Michigan Department of Education. Dr. Sarah Dixon, representing the Michigan Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics, testified in support of HB 5329. Questions and discussion followed. Wyatt Sterling, the sibling of an individual with Epilepsy, testified in support of HB 5329.
