Chair Neyer laid a presentation from the Michigan Potato Industry Commission before the committee. Dr. Kelly Turner, representing the Michigan Potato Industry Commission, Phil Gusmano, representing Better Made, Kali Bagley representing Downey's Chips, and Dennis Lott, owner of Lott Seed Farm, gave presentation. Questions and discussion followed. At 11:03 AM, the Chair laid the committee at ease. At 11:03 AM, Majority Vice Chair Wortz called the committee back to order.
