The Chair laid an Informational Hearing on the Health Plan Services Line Item for Fiscal Year 2023–2024 and Fiscal Year 2024-2025 before the committee. Dominick Pallone, representing the Michigan Association of Health Plans, provided a presentation on the Medicaid budget- Health Plan Services Line Item. Questions and discussions followed. Todd Anderson and Kris Kraft, representing Blue Cross Complete Michigan and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, provided a presentation on Blue Cross Complete of Michigan and the Value of Medicaid. The Chair laid HB 4328 before the committee: HB 4328 (Rep. Fairbairn) A bill to make, supplement, adjust, and consolidate appropriations for various state departments and agencies, the judicial branch, Robin Risko, representing the House Fiscal Agency, testified on HB 4328. This amendatory act does not take effect unless Senate Bill No. 55 of the 103rd Legislature is enacted into law.”
