The Chair laid HB 4418 and HB 4419 before the committee: code of criminal procedure," by repealing sections 3, 4, 5, 6, 6a, and 6b of chapter VII (MCL 767.3, 767.4, 767.5, 767.6, 767.6a, and 767.6b). HB 4262 (Rep. Harris) A bill to provide for certain investigations for violating the event online ticket sales act; to prescribe the powers and duties of certain state agencies and departments; and to prescribe civil sanctions and provide certain remedies. HB 4263 (Rep. McFall) A bill to regulate the online sale of tickets for entertainment events; and to prohibit certain methods, acts, and practices in the sale or purchase of tickets for entertainment events. Representative Thompson testified in support of HB 4418 and HB 4419. Nicole Shannon, representing the Michigan Elder Justice Initiative, testified in support of HB 4418 and HB 4419.
