The Chair laid HB 4556 and HB 4557 before the committee: HB 4556 (Rep. Kunse) A bill to amend 1976 PA 451, entitled "The revised school code," by amending section 1279g (MCL 380.1279g), as amended by 2016 PA 170. HB 4557 (Rep. Koleszar) A bill to amend 1979 PA 94, entitled "The state school aid act of 1979," by amending sections 22p and 104c (MCL 388.1622p and 388.1704c), section 22p as amended by 2024 PA 120 and section 104c as amended by 2021 PA 48; and to repeal acts and parts of acts. Representative Kunse and Representative Koleszar testified together in support of HB 4556 & HB 4557. Questions and discussion followed.
