The Chair instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Cavanagh, Sen.(s) McCann, McMorrow, Cherry, Huizenga and Bumstead The Chair entertained a motion by Senator Huizenga, to adopt the meeting minutes from April 24, 2025. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair entertained a motion by Senator McCann, to excuse absent members from the meeting. Without objection, Senator Camilleri was excused from the meeting. The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding Governor's FY 2025-26 budget recommendation for the Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity: Director Susan Corbin Director of Legislative Affairs, Jayshona Hicks There being no further business before the committee, the Chair made a motion, to adjourn the committee at 3:46 p.m. Without objection, the committee was adjourned.
