- HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES COMMITTEE ON APPROPRIATIONS REP. ANN BOLLIN CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Wednesday, February 11, 2026 1:00 PM Room 352, State Capitol Building The House Committee on Appropriations was called to order by Chair Bollin. The House Standing Committee on Appropriations was meeting jointly with the Senate Standing Committee on Appropriations. The Chair requested attendance to be called: Present: Reps. Bollin, Phil Green, Jenkins-Arno, Kelly, Mueller, Slagh, VanWoerkom, Roth, DeSana, Kuhn, O'Neal, Rogers, Steckloff, Glanville, Edwards, Farhat, Martus, McKinney, Morgan, Price, Snyder and Longjohn. Absent: Reps. Maddock, Markkanen, Beson, Borton, Cavitt, Steele and Robinson. Excused: Reps. Maddock, Markkanen, Beson, Borton, Cavitt, Steele and Robinson. Representative Mueller moved to excuse Representatives Maddock, Markkanen, Beson, Borton, Cavitt, Steele and Robinson from the meeting. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Chair laid a presentation on Governor Whitmer’s Fiscal Year 2027 and 2028 Budget Recommendations before the committee Director Jen Flood and Deputy Director Kyle Guerrant, representing the Michigan State Budget Office, provided a presentation on Governor Whitmer’s Fiscal Year 2027 and 2028 Budget Recommendations. Questions and discussions followed. There being no further business before the committee, Chair Bollin adjourned the meeting at 2:27 PM.
