Schuette) A bill to amend 1967 PA 281, entitled "Income tax act of 1967," (MCL 206.1 to 206.847) by adding section 275. HB 4056 (Rep. Schuette) A bill to create a child care savings program; to provide for child care savings accounts; to prescribe the powers and duties of certain state agencies, boards, and departments; to allow certain tax deductions; and to provide for penalties and remedies. HB 4057 (Rep. Schuette) A bill to amend 1967 PA 281, entitled "Income tax act of 1967," by amending section 30 (MCL 206.30), as amended by 2023 PA 4. Representative Scheutte, Representative Schmaltz, and Representative DeBoer testified in support of HB 4055, HB 4056, HB 4057, HB 4058, and HB 4059. Questions and discussions followed. Genevieve Marron, representing Right to Life of Michigan, testified in support of HB 4055, HB 4056, HB 4057, HB 4058, and HB 4059.
