The Chair laid HB 4118 before the committee: HB 4118 (Rep. Slagh) A bill to amend 1949 PA 300, entitled “Michigan vehicle code,” by amending section 627 (MCL 257.627), as amended by 2016 PA 445. Representative Slagh testified in support of his bill. Chief Jon Gale, representing the Norton Shores Police Department, and Chief Matt Messer, representing the Holland Department of Public Safety, approached to testify in support of the bill.
