    **DRAFT** COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES February 25, 2021 A meeting of the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Licensing and Regulatory Affairs/Insurance and Financial Services was scheduled for Thursday, February 25, 2021, at 8:30 a.m., in the 1300 Room of the Binsfeld Office Building. The Chair called the meeting to order at 8:32 a.m. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Nesbitt, Sen.(s) MacDonald and Santana, a quorum was present. Sen. Nesbitt motioned to approve minutes from the July 23, 2020, and February 23, 2021 subcommittee meetings. Without objection, the minutes were approved. The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony: Anita Fox, Director, Department of Insurance and Financial Services – Department Overview and FY 2021-22 Executive Recommendation Senator Nesbitt and Senator Santana asked questions regarding the department's budget request and current services, experiences, and expectations for the forthcoming year.
