The agenda summary is as follow: 1. Reported SB 251 (S-1) (Sen. McBroom) with recommendation and immediate effect. The Chair called the meeting to order at 8:44 a.m. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair McBroom, Sen.(s) Bumstead, Outman, Schmidt and McCann, a quorum was present. The Chair invited the committee to recite the Pledge of Allegiance. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Schmidt to adopt the meeting minutes from June 2, 2021. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair brought up SB 251 and summarized the (S-1) version. Member questions followed. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Outman to adopt the (S-1) version of SB 251. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chair McBroom, Sen.(s) Bumstead, Outman, Schmidt and McCann Nays: None The motion prevailed and the (S-1) was adopted. .
