COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES
February 13, 2020
A meeting of the Senate Committee on Elections was scheduled for Thursday, February 13, 2020, at 12:30 p.m.,
in the 1300 Room of the Binsfeld Office Building.
The agenda summary is as follows:
1. Reported SB 756 (S-1) (Sen. Johnson) with recommendation and immediate effect.
2. Reported SB 757 (S-1) (Sen. Johnson) with recommendation and immediate effect.
The Chair called the meeting to order at 12:33 p.m. She instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the
following members were present: Chair Johnson, Sen.(s) McBroom, Lucido, VanderWall, and Wojno, a quorum
was present.
The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Wojno to adopt the meeting minutes from January 29, 2020. Without
objection, the minutes were adopted.
The Chair offered, and summarized, and (S-1) version to SB 756 and an (S-1) version to SB 757.
The following cards were read in of those individuals not wishing to testify before the committee regarding SB
756 and SB 757:

The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Lucido to adopt the (S-1) version of SB 756. The vote was as follows:
Yeas: Chair Johnson, Sen.(s) McBroom, Lucido, VanderWall, and Wojno
Nays: None
The motion prevailed and the (S-1) was adopted.
The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. McBroom to report the (S-1) version of SB 756 to the floor with
recommendation that it pass. The vote was as follows:
Yeas: Chair Johnson, Sen.(s) McBroom, Lucido, VanderWall, and Wojno
Nays: None
The motion prevailed and the bill was reported.
The Chair made a motion to recommend immediate effect for SB 756 (S-1). Without objection, immediate
effect was recommended.
The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Lucido to adopt the (S-1) version of SB 757. The vote was as follows:
Yeas: Chair Johnson, Sen.(s) McBroom, Lucido, VanderWall, and Wojno
Nays: None
The motion prevailed and the (S-1) was adopted.
The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. McBroom to report the (S-1) version of SB 757 to the floor with
recommendation that it pass. The vote was as follows:

Nays: None
The motion prevailed and the bill was reported.
The Chair made a motion to recommend immediate effect for SB 757 (S-1). Without objection, immediate
effect was recommended.
There being no further business before the committee, the Chair moved to adjourn the committee. Without
objection, the committee was adjourned at 12:39 p.m.
