BEAU M LAFAVE CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Tuesday, March 12, 2019 12:00 PM Room 307, House Office Building The House Standing Committee on Military, Veterans and Homeland Security was called to order by Chairman LaFave. Mark Sutton, representing the American Legion gave a presentation on the American Legion. The Chair requested attendance be called: Present: Reps. LaFave, Mueller, Marino, Afendoulis, Markkanen, Jones, Chirkun, T. Carter, Manoogian. Absent/Excused: None. The Chair laid HR 0037 before the committee: HR 0037 (Rep. Bollin) A resolution to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the American Legion. Mark Sutton, representing the American Legion, testified in support of HR 0037. Questions and discussion followed. Troy Tuggle, representing the Office of Representative Bollin, testified in support of HR 0037. Representative Chirkun moved to report out House Resolution No. 37 with the recommendation that the resolution be adopted. The motion prevailed 9-0-0: FAVORABLE ROLL CALL Yeas: Reps.
