The House Standing Committee on Communications and Technology was called to order by
Chair Hoitenga.
The Chair requested attendance be called:

Representative Wozniak moved to adopt the minutes from the December 4th, 2019 meeting.
There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent.
The Chair laid HB 4266, HB 5266 and HB 5263 before the committee:

A bill to amend 1961 PA 236, entitled
"Revised judicature act of 1961," (MCL 600.101 to
600.9947) by adding section 2979.
HB 5266
(Rep. Cole)
A bill to amend 2008 PA 167, entitled
"Electric cooperative member-regulation act," (MCL 460.31
to 460.39) by adding sections 8a and 8b.
HB 5263
(Rep. Miller)
A bill to amend 1991 PA 179, entitled
"Michigan telecommunications act," by amending section
316 (MCL 484.2316), as amended by 2011 PA 58.
Substitute (H-2) was previously adopted to HB 4266 on 12/04/19.
Representative Steven Johnson moved to refer House Bill No. 4266 to the committee on Ways
and Means, with recommendation as substitute (H-2). The motion prevailed 5-0-0:
