Representative Wozniak moved to adopt the minutes from the April 10th, 2019 meeting. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Chair laid HB 4249 before the committee: HB 4249 (Rep. Hoitenga) A bill to amend 1986 PA 32, entitled “Emergency 9-1-1 service enabling act,“ by amending section 413 (MCL 484.1413), as amended by 2008 PA 379; and to repeal acts and parts of acts. Representative Hoitenga moved to adopt substitute (H-1) to HB 4249. The motion prevailed 5-0- 0: FAVORABLE ROLL CALL Yeas: Reps. Hoitenga, S Johnson, Wozniak, Coleman, Chirkun. Nays: None. Pass: None. Charles Owens, representing the National Federation of Independent Business, testified with a neutral position on HB 4249. Questions and discussion followed.
