The House Committee on Elections and Ethics was called to order by Chair Bollin.
The Chair requested attendance be called:

Representative Wendzel moved to adopt the meeting minutes from May 10, 2022. There
being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent.
The Chair laid SB 273 and SB 278 before the committee:

A bill to amend 1954 PA 116, entitled "Michigan
election law," (MCL 168.1 to 168.992) by adding
section 761e.
SB 278
(Sen. MacDonald)
A bill to amend 1954 PA 116, entitled "Michigan
election law," by amending section 761d (MCL
168.761d), as added by 2020 PA 177.
Senator Johnson and Senator MacDonald testified in support of SB 273 and SB 278.
