A meeting of the Senate Committee on Natural Resources and Agriculture was scheduled for Wednesday,
December 11, 2024, at 1:30 p.m., in the 1300 Room of the Binsfeld Office Building.

The Chair called the meeting to order at 1:33 p.m.. She instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the
following members were present: Chair Shink, Sen.(s) Cherry, Singh, Polehanki, Daley and Hoitenga, a quorum
was present.
The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Cherry to adopt the meeting minutes from December 3, 2024. Without
objection, the minutes were adopted.
The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Daley to excuse absent members from the meeting. Without objection,
Sen. Victory was excused from the meeting.
The Chair invited Senator Singh to explain S-2 substitute to SB 299. Member questions followed.
